Toy Haulers - What are They?

Toy Haulers have set the RV world ablaze like nothing since the coming of the Motor Home! On this site you will find practical information for getting the most out of this versatile RV.

Tired of holding up in that old cramped truck camper, because you have to tow a trailer for the toys? Are there too many gas cans in all the wrong places? Need room to sleep 6 or more? Also known as a toy box trailer, they can make living with your toys on the road, a snap.

The Toy Hauler is adding fuel to the red hot RV market. On these pages, I'll share my insights without any hype and glitter. Just me chatting about my favorite home away from home.

Just What is a Toy Hauler?

Put simply, they have all the comforts of home and an enclosed rear cargo space for the toys.

Let's look inside. The forward section of a toy hauler has the creature comforts. Like a place to sleep, kitchen, bath, and storage. Not to mention;  AC, furnace, refrigerator, stove, shower/tub, and toilet.

The cargo area is served by a ramp that folds down from the back of the trailer. The ramp is spring loaded for easy operation. Just drive 'em in, tie 'em down, close the ramp and away you GO!

And to make it your RV Toy Box you can customize it with accessories. Let's say a generator, TV, better yet satellite TV. Might as well go for broke with a complete stereo system and computer desk.

The cargo area of your RV needs a few goodies, too. Tie downs are usually standard, but how about some nice diamond plate pieces to set set off your toy hauler; shelves, cabinets, racks, helmet hooks, and the like.

What more could you ask for? AHHHH! A built-in gas station complete with pump for your toys! And, how could you forget an awning to keep everything cool on those hot playground days. Now we're talking!
